I. Categories of Applicants:

Applicants for Master /Doctoral program by Self-supporting, Jasmine Jiangsu Government Scholarship or The Principal Foundation of Xuzhou Medical College (XZMC)

II. Criteria and Eligibility

1.Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, and obey the laws of China and regulations of the university.

2.Applicants for the master degree program must have a bachelor degree and be under the age of 35.

3.Applicants for the doctoral degree program must have a master degree and be under the age of 40.

4.Students for the master or doctoral degree program must get the certificate of HSK 4 as one of the requirements of graduation.

III. Application Procedures

1.Apply before July 31^st, 2017 and the study will start in September each year. Students must register at XZMU according to the time on the Admission Letter.

2. Applicants could download the Application Form of XZMC from the website: http://xzmc.admissions.cn/

3. Application Documents:

① XZMC Application Form (for master /doctoral program)

② Foreigner Physical Examination Form

③ Scanned copy of passport, highest school diploma and transcript

④ Highest certificate of HSK examination (if have)

⑤Two recommendation letters issued by Associate Professors (or above)

⑥ Personal statement including study background and study plan.

⑦ List of published articles (if have)

IV. Admission and Enrollment

1.School of International Education will select the outstanding applicants according to application materials and admission scheme. Usually applicants will get E-offer or reply in 5 workdays after submitting application materials. After that applicants should pay 20% tuition fee as admission deposit which can be offset as tuition fee after registration in XZMU.
2.Confirming the admission deposit, XZMU will process and post Visa Application Form (JW 202) and original Admission Letter to the applicants.
3.Applicants should bring Admission Letter, JW 202 Form and all required documents to the Embassy/Consulate of the People’s Republic of China to apply for X1 visa to study in China.
4.Applicants register at School of International Education with original Admission Letter and Visa Application Form (JW202) at fixed time on Admission Letter. Failing to register within two weeks, it will be regarded as automatic withdrawal, and admission deposit is not refundable.

Applicants for master degree program are required to complete the curriculum between 3-4 years, but no more than 5 years.

Applicants for doctoral degree program are required to complete the curriculum between 3-5 years, but no more than 6 years.

Cultivation plan will be formulated by tutor’s training unit.

VI. Fees (CNY)

1.Registration fee: 600 (pay at registration)

2.Tuition fee:

35 000/person/academic year (master program)

40 000/person/academic year (doctoral program)

3.Hostel fee: 4 600/person/academic year (twin room)

Others: university will help all students go through all procedures such as physical examination, residence permit and insurance. Students have to pay required fees to the acceptors during all procedures. All fees are not refundable and their use can’t be changed.

VII. Diploma and Certificate

Full-time international students for Master /Doctoral programs, who successfully defend the graduation thesis and meet the requirements of Master/Doctoral degree, will be granted the diploma and conferred with the relevant degree as applied.
